General Information



The Zip Line Canopy Tour has 15 Adventure Events including 8 zip lines from 200 to 800 feet in length, 4 belayed tandem ladder climbs, 2 sky bridges, 7 65-foot tree towers, and a 25 foot rappel from the final platform.

What to wear and bring: Closed toe shoes, comfortable clothes, For the Spring/Fall and we suggest a jacket or coat, and thin knit hat.

Ages: Approximately 5 years old and older

Weight:   Must be between 40 to 250 lbs.

Guests under 120lbs will tandem on several zips during the tour and will solo on the rest.

Trip format: Trips are run in a pod format with up to 8 guests and 2 guides per group. Larger groups will be staggered on 15 minute intervals.

Please allow 2-3 zipline tour, with a half hour added before and after to get to the site in our River Riders Shuttle.

*The Canopy Tour Waiver is a double sided legal document and MUST be printed to include both sides. Please bring the complete document with you on trip day. Minors must sign their own form and also have their parent/legal guardian
sign their form.

 

Reservations

Reservations may be made in advance online. or by phone.

Please call (800)326-7238 between 9 AM and 5 PM. Reservations must be confirmed with full payment at the time of reservation. (Group 30 days) by credit card, check, or money order. If space is available, reservations can be held on a credit card with less than 7 days notice.

 

Refunds & Cancellations

Due to the cost of processing reservations, $15 per person is non-refundable. You may receive a refund for the balance of your payment upon notification made at least 7 days prior to your trip date. (Group reservations 30 days.) NO REFUNDS on cancellations or no shows less than 7 days notice (groups 30 days notice).

 

RainCheck Policy

RAINCHECK FOR EMERGENCY ZIPLINE LOWER DUE TO WEATHER
If weather and time permit and a guest is able to continue the trip on that day, the trip can be completed at no additional cost.
If however this is not possible then the following raincheck policy applies:

Any point up to Upper Tower 1: Full RainCheck
Towers from Upper Tower 1 to Upper Tower 2: 75% off next trip
Towers from Upper Tower 3 to Upper Tower 4: 50% off next trip
Towers from Lower Tower 5 to Upper Tower 6: 25% off next trip


The canopy tour course begins at the trail before Tower #3 then proceeds to Tower #2, crossing the plank bridge to Tower #1. After accending a ladder the course reverses at a higher elevation following the towers in order crossing the Burma Bridge between Tower #2 and Tower #3 continuing on and ending at Tower #7.

Tax Exemption

Many organizations are exempt from sales tax. Outdoor recreation activities in West Virginia are taxable. If you organization is tax exempt, you can receive an exception from paying sales tax. Form WV/CST-280 (Adobe Acrobat)* must be properly completed and submitted to us ahead of time along with a valid Business Registration Certificate.
(Any applicable user fees still apply regardless of exemption status.)
